Your Enhanced Anti-Theft & Immobilizaton System

Your vehicle has been equipped with an anti-theft system that when armed, will disable the ability to start your vehicle with the factory key, by relay attack and key cloning.

The factorv remote WILL NOT DISARM THE IMMOBILIZER, only the G15 remotes (2) provided will disarm the system and so enable you to start the vehicle (press unlock once to disarm the system)

Arming and Disarming - G15 1-way 4 button Remote:

Arm: Press lock icon once.

Disarm: Press unlock icon once.

Trunk open & Start icons are not installed. Nor will the remote lock or unlock the doors.

lf you do not arm (lock button) the system when you leave the vehicle, your vehicle will not be protected for 10 minutes. Ten minutes after the engine is shut off the system will arm itself. You should not rely on this feature as ten minutes is enough time for a thief to steal your vehicle. Manually arm the Starter Disable system with the GL5 remote each time you leave the vehicle.

You must disarm (unlock button) the Starter Disable system with the G15 remote each time before you try to start the vehicle. The Factory remote will not arm or disarm the Starter Disable system. You must however still have the factory key with you to operate the vehicle.

lf your vehicle has a factory remote starter, you must disarm the immobilizerfeature before starting the car.

You must arm and disarm the Starter Disable feature with the G15 remote every time you enter or exit the vehicle if you want the Starter Disable feature to protect your vehicle.

Your vehicle is protected from someone trying to steal it by trying to start the vehicle. lt will not send any signal that a theft is in progress. lt will not prevent your car from being towed away. lt will not prevent a carjacking theft.

FAQs

- The remotes use batteries. Should the battery die while the vehicle is armed, you will not be able to start the car. Change the battery (2xCR2025) and you will be able to disarm the immobilizer.

- A factory remote starter may not work if the immobilizer is armed. The immobilizer will have to be disarmed with the G15 remote provided before you try to remote start the vehicle.

- There is no alarm or siren feature attached to your Basic Kill system. You wilt receive no alert of a possible theft in progress.
